What is a podcast?

A podcast is simply an mp3 file that can be automatically downloaded to your computer, and then transferred to your iPod or other portable mp3 player. It is identical to the file that you can download from our weekend media; podcasting is simply a way of allowing that file to be automatically downloaded to your computer.

To subscribe to a podcast in iTunes, follow these steps:
   1. Select and copy the URL from Quick Link Box for the Podcast you want to subscribe to.
   2. In iTunes, go to the Advanced menu option and select “Subscribe to a Podcast…”
   3. Paste the URL into the dialog box, click the “OK” button

The podcast will appear in the Podcast library.

Double-click the name of the Podcast to hear the latest program.  If you use a portable audio player, then programs will automatically be synchronized to your device.

Do I need an iPod to listen to the messages?
No. You can listen to podcasts using your computer and iTunes.

How do I get the program iTunes?
To subscribe to our podcast thru iTunes, you will need version 4.9 or above.
Download iTunes from Apple's site. It’s free.

How many episodes of the podcast will be available?
Podcasts will include all audio from Ken's first Commissioning in December 2004 - present weekend. Audio CDs are available through the Information Center after weekend services.

What about the "sermon outline/notes" that are mentioned?
You can download a PDF of the weekly sermon outline from the link in each series on the right hand side where it says 'attachments'

Can I use a podcast reader other than iTunes?
Sure. You can use any Podcast capable RSS reader.

Can I burn a CD of the podcast?
As long as you don’t resell it or profit from it, you can burn our podcasts to a CD for your own use.
