Ken Baugh
Ken Baugh, the Senior Pastor of Coast Hills Community Church, has been in full-time ministry for over fourteen years. Most recently, Ken led Frontline Ministry at McLean Bible Church in Virginia to become one of the leading models of ministry for young adults in the country. Ken has been sought after as a speaker and consultant to pastors and churches around the world, including the United States Military, for his expertise in building strategic ministries to reach, equip, and disciple young adults.
Prior to McLean Bible Church, Ken served on staff at North Suburban
Evangelical Free Church in Deerfield Illinois, Laguna Hills Evangelical
Free Church with Pastor Don Smith, and at Saddleback Church with Pastor
Rick Warren.
Ken
received his BA in Christian Education at Biola University, and his
Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago.
Ken
and his wife Susan have been married for 19 years and have two
daughters, Jessica and Ariella. They love being together and building a
strong marriage and family have been high priorities for them both.

Doug Armstrong
Doug
and his wife Melissa have been married for 24 years and live in Laguna
Niguel with their two sons Taylor-21 yrs. and Hunter-18 yrs. Doug and
Melissa have been members of Coast Hills for 16 years. Doug has worked
as an attorney for 26 years and currently serves as the Senior Vice
President, Legal Counsel for Atria Senior Living Group, Inc. Doug has
served Coast Hills by teaching childrens’ Sunday school classes,
leading couples and mens small groups, greeting visitors in the
Courtyard Connections, delivering food through the hospitality
ministry, and mentoring young engaged couples in the Pre-Marriage Mentoring program. Doug seeks to
use his spiritual gifts of wisdom, leadership, and discernment to serve
Christ and the body of Coast Hills.
Leon James Leon
and his wife Claudine, reside in Laguna Niguel and along with their
daughters, Courtney and Brittany, have been members of Coast Hills for
the past sixteen years. Professionally, Leon is an accomplished
Investment Advisor and has the spiritual gifts of Faith, Teaching and
Administration. Leon has served both as a member and Chairman of the
Board of Trustees for Coast Hills for five years, prior to serving on
the Elder Board. What he loves most about Coast Hills? - The dynamic
Men’s and Women’s Ministries that develop disciples who go out and
impact our local communities. In addition to serving on the Board of
Elders, Leon has also led men’s small groups and a couples group with
Claudine.
Gary Luke
William E. Nixon (Bill)
Bill and Pam, his wife of more than 24 years are busy with three children – one in elementary, one in middle school and one in high school. They have been members of Coast Hills since 1996. You can find Bill (and his family) serving regularly in the Children’s ministry or making coffee for Men’s 1st Appointment. Bill has filled various executive roles at both public and private companies since relocating to Southern California and graduated from Eastern Nazarene College.
Rhoads and his wife Debbie have lived in Laguna Beach 27 years and began attending Coast Hills in 1987. They have two grown sons Justin 25 and Jordan 20. Rhoads has enjoyed a career in industrial real estate development and has been active in the community in banking, youth sports, and publishing a local newspaper. Rhoads is involved at Coast Hills in mens and couples small groups and serves with several restoration ministries in South Orange County. Rhoads seeks to use his spiritual gifts of administration and helps to impact the ministries of Coast Hills.

Greg Holmes
Greg and his wife Pauli, along with their two boys live in Laguna
Niguel. Their three adult daughters, their son-in-law and their first
grandson also live nearby. Greg has been serving in the Music Ministry
at Coast Hills since 1986, and has experienced the growth of our body
from approximately 75 attendees to thousands each weekend.
Additionally, Greg has been active in Men’s and Small Group
Ministries. Greg embraces opportunities to use his spiritual gifts of
discernment, administration and helps to serve the body of Coast
Hills. He has spent more than 20 years working in the field of
Information Systems, most recently as a consultant.
