PURPOSE
Our purpose is to introduce every child to Jesus Christ. Teaching a child to love Jesus, serve others, and share His Story results in changed lives.

Our Kid City Director (Birth - 3rd grade)

   
Meet Debbie Pelichowski, our Children's Ministry Director.  Debbie has faithfully served at Coast Hills for over 6 years.  If you were a part of SVBS, you were able to see firsthand what a talented leader and shepherd she is.  Her love for Christ and unique ability to encourage, motivate, and love kids is an example to us all!

KID CITY WEEKENDS:  Saturdays 5pm, Sundays 9am & 11am


    Nursery
    • Your babies will love our screened Workers, who carefully follow parental instructions and Kid City safety procedures for the time they are in our care.

    Walking through 23 months
    • Your toddler will also be well cared for, played with, and loved by our leaders.
    • The time passes quickly as your child plays, interacts with other children, experiences Bible stories, music, and snack time in their classrooms.

    2 years through 3rd Grade
    • Age appropriate classrooms divide 2s, 3s, 4s&5s, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade.
    • Our Teachers are excited to teach the children who are entrusted to them each hour.
    • The class schedules vary, but all classes incorporate Bible stories with various puppets, dramas, crafts, and games.
    • At this age, they are introduced to corporate music/worship time, where they participate with fun hand motions and singing.
    • Memorizing God's Word, attendance, and participation are all rewarded with a fun element called "Bible Bucks."
    • 2nd & 3rd Graders end their morning with "Ticket Time."
    • The kids are also introduced to adults in our church through a "Spotlight" time, learning how Jesus transformed their lives.
    • All of these activities focus on building a strong foundation for your child's spiritual life.
