VISION & MISSION

The vision of Flood Ministry is directly in line with the vision and mission of Coast Hills Community Church.  Therefore, we operate, create and gear our ministries and its events and programs towards the following three values:  Love, Serve, Share.

PHILOSOPHY

The way we do ministry is not "the way" to do ministry, it is "a way" to do ministry.  One major way to avoid conflict, confusion, and loss of focus is for staff members to embrace the current philosophy of ministry rather than try to reinvent it.  We would expect any incoming staff person to understand the philosophy before they sign on.

Biblical Purpose -- "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails ..."  Proverbs 19:21

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

OUTREACH events are designed specifically to INTRODUCE our students' friends to our ministry (family), to provide an initial contact with non-believing students through fun and establishing relationships with other students.  Students are invited to "come" join us again after they have attended an event.
Purpose:  EVANGELISM

SUNDAY MORNING is a weekly meeting.  When a student attends Sunday morning, they will leave learning some biblical truth and will have an opportunity to respond to what they have heard.  In addition to applying biblical truths into their everyday life, regularly attending students are encouraged to invite their friends.
Purpose:  WORSHIP, EVANGELISM, FELLOWSHIP

MID-WEEK SMALL GROUP is a Bible study designed to bring students together for study, prayer, accountability, food, and to build FRIENDSHIPS, and sharing life experiences together.  Meets every Wednesday night at 6:30pm, here at the church.
Purpose: FELLOWSHIP, DISCIPLESHIP

MISSIONS  Students will be exposed to missions on a yearly basis to help them GROW in their faith.  Through serving others, students will be challened to a stronger faith commitment in their own life.
Purpose:  DISCIPLESHIP, EVANGELISM
