Jesus told His disciples that they would be persecuted, and that they ‘ought to rejoice about it (Matthew 5). In Acts chapter 4, after the miraculous healing of a lame man, the disciples find themselves getting arrested. Prepared for this moment and in an incredible display of the Holy Spirit, Peter takes the opportunity to be bold for the truth, and as opposition increases against them, the disciples ask for even greater boldness. This week, Pastor Adam shares with us that to become bold witnesses, we need to be prepared for hatred, be filled with the Spirit, be unmoved by opposition, and be praying for more boldness.
