Walk in a Way that God Would Consider Worthy

October 24, 2021 | Doug Armstrong

Today in 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12, Doug Armstrong encourages the church to engage in intergenerational discipleship relationships. Paul set the example as he shared the Gospel with tenacity, with honesty, with purity, and with love—even when it was difficult. Paul says it this way to the young Thessalonian believers: “We pleaded with you, encouraged you, and urged you to live your lives in a way that God would consider worthy…” Here at Coast Hills, we have a responsibility to do the same with the younger generation in our church, “for He called [them] to share in His kingdom” (1 Thessalonians 2:12).
